Minutes from UC Davis, Woodland Research Park will combine a technology business campus with a mixed-use development including residential neighborhoods, community-serving retail, and open spaces for gathering and community events. It will be designed to complement the adjacent Spring Lake neighborhood and nearby Downtown Woodland.

At the City of Woodland’s “Southern Gateway” between Highway 113 and County Road 25A, the site has long been designated by the City of Woodland for this type of project, which would enhance and expand Woodland’s existing food production and agriculture economy and the reflect the City’s General Plan.
Woodland Research Park is just five minutes from the University of California, Davis, one of the nation’s top research institutions where academic research seeks to expand to commercial application. Of the top 20 research universities in the nation, only UC Davis does not have a nearby research park to support this “tech transfer.”
